  1. I absolutely love this theme, however, I am having the hardest time trying to customize this theme.

    1. How do I get the checkout, transaction results and your account to show up at the top of the page like the demo page.

    2. How do I get my categories to show up under shop?

    3. What is “brands” and where can I go to update these options?

    4. How do I update the price range feature?

    5. How do I show the registered users options on the banner as shown in the demo?

    6. How does the “brands scroll” work that is next to the special offers banner?

    7. How do I change the special offers banner?

    8. My shop by categories isn’t showing up the category names.

    9. I added a product yet it shows up looking crazy and unorganized on the product page. Why is this and how do I fix it?

I know this is a lot but there isn’t a guide to go by and I was expecting this to be a lot more user friendly. Thanks in advance for your help!!!! I want to launch my site within a couple of days so its critical that I figure this out.

    1. 1. Edit Header.php file Line No 23 and replace the child_of=3 with child_of=.

      2. You can add the categories from wp-admin/. you can see categories page under product menu.

      3. On the Product categories page you will see a combo box with “Select a Group to Manage:” label. Select Brands from this combo box and hit on “+ Add new category to the “Brands” Group” link to add the brands.

      4. What do you mean by “update the price range feature?”

      5. This option is already integrated with the shop theme. for this you have to logged out from wp-admin section

      6. Here you will see all of your brands you have added from WP-Admin by following Point# 3. This will filter your added product by branding!

      7. Go to WP-Admin section. Here you will see a “Banners” menu at the bottom of the left menu. To add a new banner click on “Add new banner”.

For Point # 8-9 follow the ReadMe “How to Use IT?” Section

  2. Brilliant template thanks!

Unfortunatly I have come accross a couple of issues.

    1) as other i am getting the following error:
“Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in …. \wp-content\plugins\wp-e-commerce\wpsc-admin\includes\display-items-functions.php on line 984”

    2) I am unable to upload/create any banners. When I try to add new banner from the admin after selecting an image ( yes i am using size 685 x 392 images), I click “Add Banner” and the page resets and nothing is actually added. Any ideas?

    Thanks

    1. 1) It’s WP-Commerce Plugin Issue! Make sure you have configured the items properly.

      2) Make Sure the wp_banners table created in SQL database! Create a new one, If it is not create.

      CREATE TABLE wp_banners (
      `bannerid` int(255) NOT NULL auto_increment,
      `bannerName` varchar(255) default NULL,
      `attachedTo` varchar(255) default NULL,
      `bannerImage` varchar(255) default NULL,
      `active` int(1) default '0',
      PRIMARY KEY (`bannerid`)
      ) ENGINE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=0 DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8;

  3. Wow, finally I found it.
I Thing it’s pretty light for my appliance store.

I combine with local shipping plugin.
    It’s great

    Thanks for your share

  4. Hi, i’m testing out the theme. It’s a very nice theme and thanks for the hard work.

I encounter problem when adding banner. It shows error:
Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/traffi12/public_html/preview/wp-content/themes/Theme-451-Free/includes/manage-banners.php on line 191

Could you advise what is wrong?

    Thanks

    1. Make Sure you have pointed the banners with exact category. If the error remain same Edit /home/traffi12/public_html/preview/wp-content/themes/Theme-451-Free/includes/manage-banners.php file and comment the following code

      echo wpsc_category_url($result->attachedTo);
